Hello everyone! 👋

In this lesson, we’re going to learn the names of different rooms and furniture you can find in a house.

We’ll also learn how to describe where things are and use some British and American English words.

🟩 TYPES OF HOMES

در زبان انگلیسی، برای اشاره به نوع محل زندگی می‌توانیم از واژه‌های زیر استفاده کنیم:

🏢 apartment block (US) / block of flats (UK) → آپارتمان

🏠 house → خانه

📘 Example:

I live in an apartment. (من در آپارتمان زندگی می‌کنم.)

My grandparents live in a big house. (پدربزرگ و مادربزرگم در یک خانه‌ی بزرگ زندگی می‌کنند.)

🟩 PARTS OF THE HOUSE

(بخش‌های مختلف خانه)

یک خانه از چند بخش یا طبقه تشکیل می‌شود. بیایید آن‌ها را یاد بگیریم 👇

roof → سقف

attic → زیرشیروانی

upstairs → طبقه‌ی بالا

downstairs → طبقه‌ی پایین

basement → زیرزمین

yard (US) / garden (UK) → حیاط یا باغچه

door → در

stairs → پله‌ها

window → پنجره

📘 Example:

The bedrooms are upstairs.

There’s a garage downstairs.

We have flowers in our garden. 🌸
